This is absolutely sickening. Agreeing to a ceasefire, then two hours after civilians leave the destruction and come out of hiding to bury their dead, they are attacked.

Among it’s other achievements fighting in Gaza, Israel also captured a few terrorists and was able to extract information about Hamas’s plans.

When the soldiers interrogated the terrorists they asked “Why, with so many tunnels (41 so far) going deep into Israel, 25 meters below the ground, some of which reached as far as Beer Sheva – didn’t you use them to attack, kidnap and/or kill Israeli civilians?

    The answer was this:

“We have spend the last 12 years building those tunnels and were planning a massive attack against Israel in 2 months time.

We built those dozens of tunnels throughout southern Israel, reaching many towns, not for terror attacks, but to capture territory.

We were waiting for the upcoming Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashana,… we planned to use this advantage to attack and conquer the state of Israel and kill the Zionists.”

    ***********************************************

Should have never agreed to a ceasefire to begin with. If Hamas lays down their weapons, there will be peace. If Israel lays down their weapons, there will be no more Israel.

Maybe you jumped the gun. Looks like Hamas violated the ceasefire with a suicide attack against an Israeli unit followed by the taking of an Israeli soldier.

Sorry, anyone who argued that Hamas is a rational actor that can be negotiated with, etc. Has lost their argument. Hamas had a chance at peace and chose instead to carry out an attack. The wrath will be horrible.

So inadequate that you cannot even respond to the topic at hand, and instead have to resort to ad hominem attacks. Well, what more can be expected of a mail room boy?

OT: Typical Israeli behavior. Anyone who believes they are actually trying to minimize civilian casualties has blinders on.

Yes, please respond to the topic at hand.

The topic at hand is that Hamas militants used one of the tunnels that are "only for food and supplies" to carry out a suicide bombing against an Israeli unit during the ceasefire and took an Israeli soldier prisoner.

    Israel has responded brutally.

just shows you how world media and people like you are quick to belive Hamas and blame Israel!

CNN) - The latest attempt at an Israel-Hamas cease-fire disintegrated Friday. After the capture of an Israeli soldier, the conflict edged closer to escalation than to peace.

Tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are:

"The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isis) has told the Palestinian people that it is “only a matter of time” before they reach Palestine to join the fight against “barbaric Jews”.

The Islamic militant group, who last month announced a “Caliphate” straddling the Iraqi-Syrian border and renamed themselves the Islamic State, released the provocative statement on an Isis-affiliated Twitter account.
“It is only matter of time and patience before it [Islamic State] reaches Palestine to fight the barbaric Jews and kill those of them hiding behind the gharqad trees – the trees of the Jews,” the statement read.
The group said it would do “everything within its means” to continue the fight against any obstacleon the way to “Palestine”, alluding to the Middle Eastern territory before the creation of the State of Israel in 1948.
“As for the massacres taking place in Gaza against the Muslim men, women and children, then the Islamic State will do everything within its means to continue striking down every apostate who stands as an obstacle on its paths towards Palestine,” the group said.
The group and its “Caliph”, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, have faced criticism from some quarters for notcoming to the aid of Palestinian civilians being killed in the Israeli Defense Forces’ Operation Protective Edge in Gaza.

You didn't read the articles, right?

"The suspected kidnapping occurred shortly after a heavy exchange of gunfire erupted in the southern Gaza town of Rafah. Militants reportedly emerged from a tunnel shaft before a suicide bomber detonated himself".
