Probably related to his PT and the fact that Phoenix essentially has 3 PGs. But how much of that was in his agent's hands? IT signed before Bledsoe re-signed with them. On top of that, Suns weren't even coming close to what Bledsoe wanted (near max). I suppose IT might've told his agent he wanted to land in a place where he'd be a guaranteed starter after his season in Sactown. Unfortunately we have no need for him. Too good to be our 6th man playmaker off the bench and would demand too much money as well.
This seems like a valid firing. IT got underpaid. Sure he plays in an extremely competitive position... And his impact on winning is perhaps not as great as his stats may occasionally suggest... But relative to his peers he is underpaid.
that damage control press release from 'dan rohme director of communications' was hilariously pathetic
His dad used to be a GM; you would think he would have a better understanding of his value. If Isaiah Thomas was still a GM he would have offered a max contract to an Isaiah Jr. type player
They’re not related. I wonder if the fact that IT somehow thought he’d start gives some credence to the offseason rumor that the Rockets would get Dragic or Bledsoe in a trade. It’s quite weird for Thomas to think that he can start on a team with two PGs better than him.

Not related but he was named after him. His dad, James Thomas was a huge lakers fan. He bet that the Lakers would beat the Pistons in the finals, if they lost to the Pistons he said he would name his son Isaiah. Lakers lose...boom...Isaiah Thomas.
First time I saw that fadeaway from DeAndre... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DOXbTT-MDM I just knew. I just knew is all.
