I thought he played OK when he got time last night .

He got called for a couple of fouls and had a bad denial at the rim . But he got a steal , he got a block , he got a few rebounds .

He is BIG . That means that if an opposing BIG want to grab rebounds or score in the post then you are gonna have to move someone your own size .

So , He will make the opposing teams bigs have to work harder. They also have to work harder to box him when he crashes the offensive glass

Harden is strong as **** , but when he guards a big guy in the post he has to use a high amount of effort .

Turn his energy into a weapon . And stop letting other teams bigs get away with pickin on us all the time .

We CAN play small . But not for 48 . Tucker and James don't have the ability to stay solid on the glass AND be effort defenders AND put in work on offense . You are just asking too much . Especially in the ducking altitude in Denver !

At this point I would give him Nene's minutes. What could it hurt?

I like Hartenstein, and would be playing him way, way more.

Mike D'Antoni is essentially forfeiting all defensive integrity when he plays this small.

Huh? Jokic was abusing Hartenstein last night. He was also abusing every post defender not named Harden, but still, I don't think Hartenstein is anywhere near capable as a defender. Maybe one day. He's got the size and the motor, that's for sure.

Slow jump, low jump, shoulder slump, won’t get over the hump. I vote to trade the chump.

I thought he played decent last night. He got called for a couple bogus fouls, which is to be expected cuz he’s a rookie.

That’s not what I saw at all, so we absolutely disagree.

He’s active. He’ll need to learn how to avoid stuff like that, but I like him long term.

He looks lost out there tonight. I don’t see what the Rockets see in this kid. He can’t jumo so why not just cut him and sign an athletic rebounder from the D League? Either that, or sign a backup shooting guard or SF

He looked much better tonight. In control mostly, and nobody embarrassed him in the paint.

Chris gets ONE shot at a play in this game and clangs an easy slam off the back rim.

This guy might not even make it in China.

He's basically in his first season in the nba and he's a 20 years old guy coming from Europe...he's fine, just needs time to adapt, he was good enough tonight.

He was mediocre tonight . I've seen him play better I've seen him play worse .

He's gotta work on staying light on his feet on defense. NBA athletes kill you if you are flat footed .

Game still seems fast for him . But he made a nice pass on offense as a roll man .

I think the more time he gets the better he will be , but who knows how quickly

Glad he's playing in the G league if MDA is going to keep him on the bench mostly.
