    A backup C that can patrol the paint would do wonders for the Rockets second unit defensively. When Nene was healthy he was solid. Hartenstein brings energy but no paint presence. The Rockets can't overuse Tucker at backup C. And he is great against the Warriors at that spot but against other teams?

    I mentioned him before, but Robin Lopez would be great as a buyout candidate to play backup C for this team. Perhaps he wouldn't be the best switch defender, so Bzdelik would have to tweak some things. But he would be no worse than Nene when he was out there contributing.

    @Codman

    In just 2 games (Wolves & Hawks) Tyson Chandler has provided great value to the Lakers. Key rebounds, tip outs and blocks. Goes to show you sometimes roster moves "at the margins" can make a big difference.

    If Morey can re-jigger the bench a bit with moves at the margins that could make a big difference.

    Did we have any indication he WANTED to come here?
    I think it was his choice

    I feel blessed that he didn't choose the Warriors. I can deal with him choosing the Lakers. I would of lost my **** if he would of chosen the warriors.

    LOL at Rockets don't have a need or room for Tyson Chandler when only competent big man that we have is old and injury prone and the other is a raw ass rookie.

    Morey really is washed up

    Tyson Chandler said he's not interested in taking over the starting center spot in Los Angeles.

    "It's not about me and him. I not here to take anybody's job," said Chandler of JaVale McGee. "I'm here to help make the team better. My hope is to make his job easier, so he stays fresh and so he can play throughout the year and gives us the type of minutes that he's given as well as me."

    must be nice to have guys like this on your roster

    You can thank the 2011 Mavericks championship for that. If Tyson was ring-less he would have chosen the Warriors.

    Cod's info wasn't dead on right there. The Rockets pursued Chandler he chose not to come here.

    It may be a shock, but as it turns out we won't have the #pickoffreeagents even though we #savedthemle for the #buyoutperiod.

    @J.R. knows what's up.

    We're never #1 priority for buyouts. This year will be no different.

    Heard Luke Walton is gonna take Chandler out of the rotation and they're going to cut him because he can't shoot the 3.

    (See what I did there? This is how stupid we're being with Melo right now.)
