I don't believe in the jinx but I also believe in a little decorum and calling the Mavs an easy opponent before you have even won the series is a little classless.

This board is about as regulated as the Zoo on TexAgs where anything from anyone goes.

Foolish post. In the playoffs, anything can happen.
Especially playing 5 on 8 (5 Mavs and 3 Zebras)

 

Let's see how we do in Dallas first. We've seen series leads like this disappear in the past, but so far it looks as though it may be. Understandably, some people don't want to be jinxed around here, though. It's just bad timing. Ten years ago, just about exactly, we lost a series lead of 2 - 0 to the Mavericks of all teams. Not sure if you were aware of that, but I think that's a big part of why people are concerned around here. Even if we make it out of this round, the next round will be hell as we'll have to face either the Spurs or Clippers, I believe. Neither of which we match up particularly well with. Certainly you should enjoy this series, and we're all hoping that we win a championship this year, but let's wait till/to see if it happens before we celebrate it.

 

Guys series is over. Rest the starters for round 2.

The Rockets should let Dallas get a game so we aren't too rusty going into round 2.

 

You need to learn how to use semicolons or periods instead of commas. The creation of run on sentences is disturbing.

 

From my perspective, the Mavs have been in both games poised to potentially win both games and a ten point lead is peanuts when it comes down to it because it can evaporate on a dime. Anyone who thinks this series is lopsided is seriously r****ded. The Rockets have won simply because they won the fourth quarter of both games.

 

lets make sure we at least go up 3-0 before we start bringing out the brooms. Several teams have came back and won a series after being up 2-0. None have done it from down 3-0, so lets wait until friday night to start discussing our next opponent and details for 2nd round.

 

well yeah i guess. Mavs are just too dysfunctional right now that if we lose this series i will probably zombie walk for a month and eat someone's brain to replace my memory.
