That's above normal weight? I'm 5'-7" and my weight fluctuates between 154 to 160. I'm not sure what my body fat is but I'm carrying a little bit extra in the handles. I do a lot of situps though so I have a 4 pack but not quite a six pack. As for this thread you can't judge someone just by height and weight statistics. As others have noted muscle is heavier than fat so she could be built like a gymnast, think Alicia Sacremone, rather than being obese. Anyway if you are so shallow as to get hung up about even meeting her just because of her height and weight stats then internet dating might not be the thing for you.
Roseanne, Oprah, and Rosie at their biggest were more like 230-240. Tyra Banks is 160. Of course, she's 5'10".

Stick with the personality. If you like her personality, most likely her personality will not change rest of her life. Her weight will change. She can lose weight if she wants to. Simple like that. God, some of you are superficial.
She's probably just thick. Black women are more dense than other races because they carry more weight in their lower body (thighs,hips,ass) so its possible she could be built pretty good. 5'6 173 means she's probably a size 12. I have some women associates of mine that were that size and most guys thought they were fine. They had the small waist, the hips, and the bubble, but they were about that size. So that doesn't mean they girl is fat.
..and her personality is that she likes to sit her fat ass on the couch with a gallon of ice cream and watch TV all the time. So, if you're looking for someone to feed, who has lots of body mass to snuggle up to, and enjoy sharing 6 hours of DVR'ed TV shows, she's perfect for you.
Overweight, a little extra. Not obese. It also depends on the way it's distributed. It might be a lot of curves and lady parts guys like, and some muscle in there too. It does not necessarily mean she's not active or healthy. When you guys compare women's weights to your own, remember they have extra curves that you don't, so a little more for the same height is not necessarily a bad thing. But anyway: before you even worry about her weight, you should be more concerned with whether you're compatible as people - in person and not just on the Internet.
