Is there any possibility of acquiring LaMarcus Aldridge?

    Portland is a lot like us. They're interested in stockpiling youth, talent and upside. Aldridge embodies all those characteristics plus they just inked him to a lengthy contract extension. As others have already mentioned, it's quite clear that they're building around him and Roy.

    Well seems like Aldridge is having ankle problems...I say this is a really good time to bid for the guy. He seems to be getting the TMac treatment in Portland due to his inconsistency and toughness, let's at least try to get the guy...I'm sure he can be had for the right deal. T-Mac's contract would do wonders for them and I'm sure they would be interested.

    How is he a "poor man's Aldridge?" If he keeps playing at the level he is now, he'll get a big fat contract just like Aldridge.

    the possibility for blazers to let aldridge go is very very minor,they just sign a long term and big contract with him.
    but theoretically if we could acquire aldridge i don't care give up scola .

    I don't like the idea of adding Lamarcus Aldridge very much. We're solild at power forward and I think Landry is clearly getting the job done, there's no reason to mess with the best power forward rotation in the league.
