I’ll take that 07 ROX team with Brooks, Scola, and a healthy Yao

One of the most homer posts I’ve ever read lmao. Shane barrier and Robert Covington has no business being talked about.

I would put forward following lineup for spacing purposes

    Nash/Fisher/Avery Bradley
    Kobe/Byron Scott
    Lebron/Odom/MWP/Ariza
    Horry/Magic/Shooter like Glen Rice Sr.
    KAJ/Wilt/Shaq/Magic/Gasol

Horry getting 20+ ppg on open shots.

    DRose
    MJ
    Scottie
    Bob Love or Rodman
    Artis Gilmore

Not as good as that Lakers team, but a worthy competitor.

Of course the Celtics probably #2, though I prefer this Bulls squad.

Spurs would have a really good team, too. And say what you want, you can never discount shooting, so the GSW would be up there.

Any team that has the best shooters has a chance esp. if things are played right now.

Right, and the all time GSW starting 5 can include Steph, Klay, Wilt, KD, Rick Barry

Maybe change out Klay for Chris Mullin... I was a big Mullin fan back in the day but honestly prefer Klay and to the extent you don't need your 5th best player to have the ball a lot, Klay is perfect, as he is perfect on many teams just floating around, cutting, getting open, spot up shooting with crazy accuracy and d'ing up.

Obviously **** Pippen but he makes a lot of sense on the best Rockets team:

    Dream
    Horry
    Pippen
    Harden
    Paul

That’s pretty darn balanced even if you’re missing better players like Clyde and Moses.
That lineup can beat anyone’s in a random 7 game series.

Ibaka would be great as the 5th. You could also use a Seattle SuperSonic player couldn’t you? That would open up a lot more possibilities.

Scola was the original "sketch" 4.
    Scola learned from Tim Duncan'.
Scola should be hall of fame.

All time okc center would be Steven Adams or Kendrick Perkins!

Don't forget okc playoff appearances with nba champion Kendrick Perkins from Beaumont,tx!

Gary Payton, Sean Kemp, and Ray Allen in their prime together with Harden and KD. That's a great small ball team.

naw. I already posted the best MDA offense for Sea/OKC

    Paul
    Harden
    Ray Allen
    KD
    Ewing

the extreme small ball would be your lineup, but replacing Kemp with CP3. :D (which I also mentioned above)

I get your CP3 choice. But Ewing for small ball? How about Sam Perkins instead?

I didn't say small-ball. I said best MDA Offense...and Sea/OKC best team. Ewing is Amare on steroids ... surrounded by two PnR guards, and 4 elite shooters.

I don't think we'd be having a small-ball discussion here, if everyone realized/remembered Patrick Ewing played a year for Seattle. Small-ball lineups just happened, because ppl were trying to fill the Center spot for OKC.

The toughest match ups are at the C and PG ... i know traditional positions are out of style but you cant ignore the size and height difference of magic and shaq

Kobe is the smallest player on that team .

I know Cp3 is an excellent defender for his size but its gonna be rough.... still id put him as our Pg ... gonna need his ability to please people
James is there too cant deny his talent and hes turned into a very good defender , need his shooting and foul creation. he CAN play off ball.
the 3 is my hardest pick ill come back to it
at the 4 we have dream . You need his defense vs AD , and bron . cant stop him in the post either . he is the #1 option
at the 5 ... Yao . You can argue for someone else but hes the best 5 to match up vs that lakers squad. Midrange , dual post option with dream. Great passer, big enough to handle shaq/wilt.... as much as i love hakeem throwing him ( even prime) vs early 2000's shaq idk if hes big enough.

so now back to the last guy . you can argue for so many players here. talent vs fit ?

I can see Ariza , clyde, tmac , battier, artest ,horry . maybe even more that im forgetting

so in sum lets go with

    paul
    harden
    battier
    olajuwon
    yao

who can find a team that beats that !?

If we go against Kareem, I'd take Ralph over Yao. We need someone both long and mobile.

If we go against Shaq, either Yao or Moses should fit well. Yao always matched up well against Shaq. Moses is tough and relentless.

At the 3, Artest at his best would be more versatile than Battier on offense.
