I'd love to see this too. It would be funny. I really love watching as 7 footers smugly attack Chuck only to get owned and then watch their baffled expression as they run back down the court wondering what in the hell just happened.
Not odd at all. The casual fan laps up flashy plays, and most of Lebron's noteworthy defensive plays are big blocks in transition. Chuck Hayes is just grunt work at its finest. He doesn't make the highlight reels, but he makes plays equally or more effective than the highlights.
This is EXACTLY what I mean, worded perfectly. Chuck is so entertaining to watch in these situations. Everyone thinks it will be an easy bucket, but Rocket fans know better...

Hayes stays planted and Byum actually bounces off of him. This is the Phil Jackson's definition of Chuck Hayes being "rooted" when Bynum goes at him like this.
