Its going to cost about 34 million/per year when you include luxury tax.

He will sell off draft picks or young talent to avoid the tax.

Capela is the only young talent. Everyone else is old. Would a team pay 20 mil (Anderson) for a low 1st round pick?

He just forced Morey to give up our PG of the future, Melton, just so he can save some $ due to the difference between Anderson's contract bad and Brandon Knight's smaller bad contract. Tilman is for sure in financial trouble.

My guess is that Knight gets stretched today (the deadline) and physicals are waived. I tweeted Bimathug on this but he doubts it, and believes the Rockets need his salary for future trades. I guess we will see today whether Tilman is cheap or not.

Zach Lowe said there are no plans to waive and stretch Knight, even though it could get them under the cap.

If the stretch him the salary gets spread. The rockets salary commitments to cp3, harden and capela just grow.

Did Tilman refuse to pay the Notorious BzD?

Is the BzD angered by Tilman selling his D for luxury tax profit?

I trust Chris Paul. The guy belives in the Rocket culture and ownership so much that he chose Rocket ownership and D. Morey over Steve Ballmer and Jerry West who happen to be the richest owner in the NBA and arugably the most decorated GM in basketball history.

He can’t even pay his cash considerations on time. Will we run out of money for player salaries soon?

I am thinking Tilman will not use MLE for 3 consecutive seasons because of repeater tax.
