Took me a while to realized it was 2007.

And I don't remember I was already so smart back then.

 

Skimming the article, my main take-away was that Kevin Willis was still going (semi-)strong. I think of that guy as a contemporary of Dominique Wilkins, for god's sake. It would be like realizing that, say, Kevin McHale was still in the league in the late 2000s.

Willis was basically like the broke man's Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
