It's really not about just this one season. His career percentage is the second highest in NBA history. If he can do this for 10 years, then it won't be even a discussion.
It kind of is just about one season though. I'm not disagreeing that he's very good when he's healthy but this is only his 4th year in the league and he only played 1/3rd of the games last year. He doesn't qualify to be considered amongst the all-time greats yet.
I agree with this. As all have said, he keeps it up, he is absolutely one of, if not the best ever. for now, of course not. Also.. I think it is a little unfair to disregard guys whose sole job was to hit spot-up 3's... like Kerr or Novak. While I think it likely Curry would be a deadly spot-up shooter if that was his role, for all I know he performs better off the dribble, or under more pressure, and wouldn't excel as much as a pure spot-up guy. Nonetheless, I do give him extra points for shooting so well, at such a high volume, as a primary ballhandler/playmaker on his team.
nah i'm joking. steph curry is in conversation for mvp on the court, eddy curry is the mvp in food court
Looks like the single season record is his ... needs 2 more in the final game of the season. 1. Ray Allen: 269 3PM 2. Steph Curry: 268 3PM (1 game in hand) I think it helps being a ball handler since you can create for yourself off of picks and in transition.. instead of counting on the perfect delivery.
Correction....Dude is shooting 45.5% from the arc while taking 7.6shots a game. Absolutely ridiculous
