Patterson is more concerned with this part of the body than his basketball skills.

Mo Taylor had a nice tatoo of a lion.

What an insult to Mo Taylor! You call this soft?

Mo Taylor had a devestating injury from which his productivity never recovered. Before that, he was a sweet-shooting big with only slightly embarrassing rebounding stats. The Year 3 Mo Taylor averaged 17 and 6 on 36 minutes. The Year 3 Patterson is averaging 12 and 5 on 29 minutes.

Mo had more offensive weapons than Patterson at this stage. And like many have pointed out, Mo was much more atrocious on rebounding and defense than Patterson. So no, they are not similar.

Mo could initiate the offense because he had sick post moves.

    calm down, impulser

NOTHING is similar in their games, PPat doesnt attempt goofy looking crossovers and is lazy out there on the court, he tries but he simply is kind of light to bang and hang on a consistent basis with the better 4's in the game

every year our 'fans' latch on to a new Rocket to consistently bash, I guess this year it's PPat, smh. Hes not the long term solution at PF, thats obvious, but should we b**** and complain because we're dissatisfied with his production?

    No.

Express your opinions but lets not be a whiny nagging wife about it.

I agree. Patrick isn't as good as Mo was, but he has the potential to get there.

Patterson has like half a post move.

Mo was smooth as heck down low.

I think that ankle or whatever injury he had really screwed him up. I remember in his rookie year he was really explosive. He had some really nice dunks. Now he's relying on soft layups like Scola used to and doesn't get up as high.

Sure - so you pick Mo Taylors CAREER BEST rebounding year, and compare it to Pattersons (incomplete) CAREER WORST rebounding year, Patterson comes out ahead in terms of rebounds per minute, and you somehow think this is a plus for Mo Taylor???

Mo Taylor was a crap rebounder, and in comparison to him, 2Pats is a rebounding giant.

You really should take a second look at their per 36 rebounding numbers.

I wish (at least on offense). As has been said, Mo Taylor had a great post game in addition to his jumper.

Mo was about the same Pat in career rebounding per minute. Patterson's best year was his rookie year. He is the only player I've seen that actually get worse each year from the rookie season. It's really a head scratcher.

Look you guys can clown Pats all you want to. He does a lot more for this team than our 25 million dollar man(Lin).

Haha. In term of "rebound"? you would think paying almost 80 million for 5 years will not tank our team just as bad.

Tried hard to come up with something here.... but... yes you're right. Patterson might actually be performing better than Jeremy Lin. That should be a pretty well known fact.

That being said, Lin is showing great resolve on the defensive end despite his struggles offensively. Have alot of respect for the guy, and think he will really explode again for a stretch of games here at some point.
