it helps when your star gets 32 points from one teammate, 20 from his other teammate, and 15 off the bench from another teammate.

If harden had 23 points on 5/14 shooting, the rockets lose to the warriors by 15+

Not against the warriors with this current group and the way they played.

Maybe when cp3 was actually an all-star caliber player.

considering they beat them without harden, it actually did happen.

He was in game 6. What's your next excuse to Harden?

You don’t get a medal for showing up late to the party.

Where was cp3 in game 5 when he went 3/14?

they're always going to say its too late as the easy excuse.

i have no idea what that even means. should the rockets not have played game 6 at all then if that was valid

What the rockets do in the regular season doesn’t matter.

You could say the same for Harden in multiple games of these playoffs.

oh it doesn't? how do you make the playoffs then? why even have a regular season. they should just skip straight into a playoff tournament

harden's iso works great. but if he takes on too large of a role he fatigues towards the end, plus if he's our only offense he has no margin for error. we were great 2 years ago when Paul was a good iso player too. this gave James time to rest and allowed him to work through a cold streak. however now that Paul has lost a step he needs to run a motion offense which isn't the best offense for harden. morey believes harden's iso is the best offense in the league and our system and roster will be built around that. pace and movement will fatigue him and weaken his iso effectiveness. it is what it is as long as morey and harden are here. we just need another great iso player which is why trading Paul has come up. Kyrie, beal, holiday, butler, etc... would all fit the bill. I think if we lower harden's usage by having another great offensive player with him we would be able to run more fast breaks and motion sets from time to time without the risk of late game fatigue during iso plays.

I do agree that we need size, but morey has never been a fan of size. undersized is always undervalued according to the numbers. I'd like to see us add length on the wing like we had with Ariza and moute more than adding size at center.

He was great in almost ever game in the warriors series.

The only time he scored less than 30 was the game he got his eyes poked out.

One was against the Bucks(who admittedly) have good defense and one was against the defending champs, who have yet to play one game against Durant.

Also no mention of shot creation which Kawhi can’t do.
