He has all the money in the world and decides to spray paint his head.
Bron went with hair extensions. Kobe shaved his head. Boozer with the ghetto spray paint.

If you do not like what Chris Bosh did to us, check what Boozer did to Cavs. He lied to get out his contract and immediately signed with Jazz for more money.

Bosh didn't do anything to us. Boozer, on the other hand, is infamous. We wouldn't repeat that mistake.

I doubt we get rejected by Boozer. That would be a new low for the Rockets.

    1. To acquire at least one and possibly 2 other assets.
    2. To be able to use Boozer 's contact to facilitate a salary dump to turn a possible deal for a superstar.
    3. To possible extend with a low salary guarantee and turn intoa trade asset similar to what Brendan Haywood is.

Possibly. If he knows Gibson is a piece that another team wants in trade.

By the way, Rockets can still help Chicago turn the Pau acquisition into s sign-and-trade so Chicago can maintain their full MLE and sign Mirotic. I'm not going to waste more keystrokes here explaining it. We'll just see if it happens.

And there are other options here involving Jones and DMO as well. But.....Boozer and other assets coming to Houston could happen. ... Today.

I thought Mirotic was a 7-8 million a year guy?

My thought is to offer the NOP pick after the Asik trade is complete to Chi for Mirotic in a 3 way then Chi dumps Boozer with the NOP pick on a third team. A third team is unlikely to have cap space for Boozer and Mirotic.

Mirotic is unproven on the NBA level. Would not trade the pick for him.

I do wonder how Chicago will be able to pay Pau Gasol his asking price (probably around $10,000,000 or $11,000,000 a year) and also sign Mirotic (which they are supposedly on the cusp of doing).

Even if they waive Boozer or find a sucker to trade for him, I don't think they'll have the money.

I do see where we might step in and use our TE and a player or pick to acquire Taj (if we match Parsons, we won't need Dunleavy, but, hell, you can always route him elsewhere).

I really can't see the owner amnestying Boozer. I do think the Bulls free up space via trade to sign Pau. Not a Boozer fan but I would take one of their assets plus he can fill in the 4 spot.

Boozer gives Houston better offense and rebounding but defensively he is a black hole

Boozer is about to turn 33, with declining production. He was 87th out of 88 Power Forwards in RPM. TJones was 38th and Donuts was 52nd.

Boozer was rated below average on offense and defense at his position. He can't stretch the floor, and he doesn't protect the rim. We would need to be getting a LOT in return to take on this huge salary dump, while losing someone like TJones.
