Actually I watched almost all of his European games last year and every minute he has played this year. That boy is not soft. He backs down from no one. He truly has a nasty on the court disposition. And he is not above delivering an elbow when needed.

That being said, he does need more strength and balance training.

Morris is a liability on both the defensive and offensive ends, whereas Motie would only be a liability on the defensive end.

Yeah, it's not like he's ever developed any notable power forwards....

Mo needs to bulk up...but definitely deserves some playing time, pretty athletic for a 7 footer.

Alot of these posters on Clutchfans don't know what the hell they are talking about. Alot of people in this forum feel that i don't either, but at least i know more about basketball than these clowns that come in the thread everyday, and post **** that they really don't know about. Just like that other fool that said D-mo keeps falling down in the post, starting Smith and Asik together will keep Harden and others from driving to the basket. .

Knowing alot about basketball but still making clueless decisions means the coach is too stupid to be a good coach.

Me thinks that you missed the sarcasm. It certainly was not complimentary.

Oh, by the way it is obvious you know next to nothing about the NBA game. Your depth of analysis never goes beyond the simplistic.

Can't agree more. Can't understand why the coaches do not even give it a try for a few minutes. If the use of 2Pat is an example (3's only for the first half of the season, now a nicer balance of 2's and 3's), these changes won't happen unless we have another losing streak. It could be embarrassing that some fans see things better than the professionals.

Personally, I really like DMO's game. He can be a beast if he bulks up and work on his D.

D-Mo sold me to his brilliance when he faked a turnover by tossing the ball into the chest of a clippers player and then making the ball bounce back into his own hands. Without missing a beat, he then went up to the hoop and scored.
You can't coach size, and you can't coach talent like that!

If you think it's a fluke, then let's just imagine how Asik would have done that play (no deliberate diss on the big guy btw).
(It would probably go: Loud scream by Asik -> ball bounces off the chest of clippers player back into Asik hands -> ball bounces off Asik's fingers into the air a couple of times -> Asik jumps up into the air raising both hands, as the ball drops to the ground -> ball picked up by Clippers player -> Asik looks at Ref and shakes his head with disgust.)

i hear that DMo is soft on defense? and morris isn't?

skinny 7footer defense = built tweener 3/4 defense roughly

the only edge morris has over DMo is experience. I imagine if DMo played more he would turn the ball over more. but it's not like morris doesn't turn the ball over either

so i would like to see dmo get playing when morris is playing terribly.

D-Mo has taken a small step into the Rockets rotation. If he can continue playing like he did against the Clips, his minutes will expand.

If D-Mo is soft just because falling on the court, then after todays game I think Durant is soft as hell.
