How can you really say that when he injured his throwing hand against Auburn. Johnny probably shouldn't have even been playing in those last two games.

So, yes, the fact that a QB with a busted up throwing hand won't play well was totally exposed.

Manziel's definitely a good player, but I don't think he has the type of personality that O'Brien and McNair would be interested in.

Not insinuating that he's a horrible person, but McNair has high standards for character, and I don't see him taking that kind of risk at 1.1

Somebody needs to remind McNair how well his way of doing things has worked out so far. You have to take a few calculated risks along the way if you want to be successful.

Come on Aggs, post pictures and youtube videos, and post rap songs that have nothing to do with anything.

and don't forget the photos of JFF at the clubs with his shirt off. Can't forget that.

You take qb. When a guy like matt schaub is more important to winning than JJ watt. You have to take qb.

Manziel has Bradyesque moxie and charisma. Can't be overlooked when trying to unearth an "it" factor.

But does Uncle Bob want to deal with a JayZ Rocaplayer like Teddy Ballgame or Johnny Fratboy and his antics?

Maybe if somebody told him he can't keep trying to win with corn fed high character guys.

Clowney even has some issues. Looks like the Texans will take Bortles by default.

College ain't the pros. Players like Manning and Brady live and breathe football, does Johnny? Manziel is a gamer, no doubt, but the pros is a totally different beast. It is a full time job, and your off the field decisions matter a lot more. Him and Clowney share similar concerns, guys who rely on instincts that seem blown up due to lack of elite competition (SEC football is not NFL football).

What antics? The way the media talk, you would think Manziel was found in bed with two 15 year old hookers, a German shepherd, and a pound of coke.

he lobs the ball up way too much. cant do that **** in the nfl. and running alot is going to destory his body (look at vick, rg3).

need a guy who can sit in the pocket and make passes with the occasional roll out. JF is probbaly good on rollouts but you cant play roll outs on every play in the NFL

He was drinking underage (you know he's the only college student ever to do that), got in a fight to protect a drunk friend and got a parking ticket. He isn't exactly the next coming of Maurice Clarett.

Running as a QB doesn't have to take a toll on your body.

Where did all this talk about him just lobbing the ball up all the time come from ? I watched every game and his ball placement has been excellent this year .. only time he might lob it up is for Evans

His passing game has improved greatly this season. Look at the deep ball he threw to Walker last night. He couldn't have placed that any better if he had it on a string.

Do you even watch Rodgers play? The only time I see Aaron Rodgers roll out is when there is absolutely no one open or the pocket breaks down. Manziel rolls out because he struggles fitting balls into tight windows and lacks consistent accuracy. He also relies heavy on Evans jump-ball ability to make plays.

I think this play summarizes all the concerns about Manziel. In the NFL, that's either a huge loss, Manziel being drilled, or a good chance of a turnover (whether fumble on his end or INT on the other end). You see a lot of that type of stuff on Manziel highlights because, well, they are highlights and he's able to pull off crazy things like that - not really sure how often he actually does it or whether it's a controllable problem or innate to the way he plays.
