No point for another thread, although I see the reason. Needed a the GREAT thread..... Compared to the other 2 failures.

After Schaub being stuck in concrete blocks JFF would be amazing.

Bridgewater had marginal games against marginal competition.

Johnny had hid biggest games on the brightest stages.

What else do you need to know?

If we draft Manziel, I unequivocally demand that we retain Case Kenum and sign Vince Young. At any given moment, 1/3 of the fans will be whining that BOB is intentionally sabotaging whomever the starter is at the moment, while the other 2/3 will be whining that the Texans are conspiring to keep the most talented player on the bench. We can have big 1950's gang - style rumbles in the parking lot before games.

Seriously, I just heard that one of the big reasons that BOB was keen to leave Penn St was that all the JoPa fans were still salty because he didn't genuflect 24-7 to the memory of JoPa. If that is the the case, Manziel should enter the evaluation process with a big black mark next to his name. If the Texans' draft Manziel and he is anything less than a Pro Bowler as a rookie, it won't be Manziel's fault. Rather, the A&M crowd will unleash their wrath on BOB for everything from calling the wrong plays to intentionally wanting Manziel to fail.

Drafting Manziel is a giant booby trap with a hair trigger waiting to explode. If I were BOB, Manziel would have to grade out as "Andrew Luck" level better than everyone else in order to consider it, which I don't think he does.

I think bridgewater could be decent but probably not really any better than say Tahj Boyd who u coud pick up in the 3rd or 4th.

If they don't take JFF with first pick then I would love Clowney. What are the chances you are going to draft someone that can outscore brady/manning?? Clowney plus Watt will give every qb nightmares.

I heard Bill Polian after watching Bridgewaters bowl game say on satellite radio "if Teddy Bridgewaters is the best QB in this draft, then it is a weak QB draft". Take the best player available Texans. Take Clowney or trade down.

So Johnny Fkkin Football then. I'm down with whoever Bill and co think is the best QB available. I think right now it's Bridgewater. But to be honest, it would be pretty exciting if Manziel is the guy they think is the one.

Jff may or may not work out, but it would sure make us interesting, if he can stay on the field

I'm starting to come around. But wouldn't want to use the #1 pick on him.

Most of these guys posting are still high on yesterdays win.

I therefore conclude that Manziel is... the new Lin. Riding out a series of hot performances to get that fat contract (high pick) then coming down to earth.

    MOF?
