If you would have seen his throwing mechanics in the 2012 Spring game, you wouldn't be talking about his work ethic. He's worked a TON on his own time to improve his game.

He seems more like the opposite of a McNair kind of pick. I wouldn't pick Manziel, because I think he'll end up getting injured. But part of me wants to see the Texans do something completely out of character and select Manziel.

That's the only thing that makes me nervous with Manziel... He's "HOUdini" 95% of the time, but in the NFL that other 5% can end your season.

They have to catch him to hurt him. Does Fran Tarkenton ring a bell?

Lot of reasons not to pick a player but because you think he " might" get hurt is silly .

Eerily similar to the VY/Mario draft.

VY = Manziel, though I do think Manziel has a better shot in the NFL.

    Mario = Clowney

I think McNair sticks to his guns and drafts Clowney.

I am all in on Teddy Bridgewater..

BUT.... TBH, I will not be terribly upset if the Texans draft Manziel.

They both will be exceptional NFL QB's... It would be kind of cool if Luck, Manziel, and Bridgewater were all in the same division.

I wouldn't mind the Texans drafting Bridgewater, but I'll be lying if I said I wasn't intrigued by the idea of drafting Manziel.

    Johnny! Johnny! Johnny!

tough choice for the BOB's. McNair may want the excitement, O'Brien may want the non-excitment.
    Bridgewater is like the anti-Johnny

My concerns about Johnny are 3 fold:
    1). Attitude
2). He played behind a pro-caliber offensive line, thus inflating his college performance
3). He's 5'11" (Russle Wilson and Drew Brees are the exceptions, not the rule)

...but I can't lie, I would love to see Houston draft a QB that's as much of a threat with his legs as Johnny is; especially after all the years of watching stiff pocket passers take sacks.

Not as an NFL prospect. For example the play where he tried to hurdle a guy then ran back and passed to the receiver for a touchdown would never happen in the NFL. He tries to run too much which isn't good for NFL qbs. He might turn out better than Teddy, but teddy does the things you are looking for from a NFL QB.
