I should/need to take this to the Teddy/Draft thread but...

I think he's gotten unfairly criticized in some areas but some rough going for him. That said...

    Said he's gonna run a 4.5 ... runs a 4.7/4.8
Didn't do much at the combine
    Poor pro day
Will do good on the wonderlic ... reportedly scores a 20.

    A little disappointing.

But I guess you can always fall back on game film.

Well he's right, football IQ is what matters, but when the kid was billed as some kind of genius and he puts up a "meh" Wonderlic score, it's a little concerning. Micheal Vick also had a 20. Most successful, modern QB's score better than that.

So? I was surprised with the score, but I've always maintained that football IQ is what matters.

The goal posts has always stayed in one spot for me.

    Colin Kaepernick - 38

    Tony Romo - 37

    Sam Bradford - 36

    Christian Ponder - 35

    Aaron Rodgers - 35

    Ryan Tannehill - 34

    Tom Brady - 33

    Matt Ryan - 32

    Matt Schaub - 31

    Phillip Rivers - 30

    Andy Dalton - 29

    Nick Foles - 29

Can anyone come up with a successful NFL QB in the last 2 decades that scored that low on the Wonderlic?

His football IQ is in question as well because he played in a game managing check down "safe" offensive system. That's why he needed to show more at the combine and his pro day. He still has individual work outs though.

LOL @ John Lopez being cited and also mini-lol @ coaches wanting dominion over dumber players.

I think Cam will be and he only had a 21. It's not a huge deal, but Teddy seems to have more red flags popping up than the other guys.

On the other side, Manziel has pretty much nailed everything since the end of the season.

RGIII ranked 7th in his HS class and only scored a 24.

Montana scored very low and then you have Marinos, Bradshaws, Kellys and McNabbs

Only the sheep put tremendous stock in the exam.

I'll admit it, I scored high on these tests but was not that good of a qb in college

If you take longer on a question it hurts your score. That could be the case with Teddy. I like both Johnny and Teddy B. but I think teddy will be the better nfl player.

Part of what helps with success on the test is education

When you attend a school that reinforces a lot of the basic algebraic concepts and critical reading concepts seen on the test, that undoubtedly helps your score.

No offense to Miami- Northwestern but I can't imagine them being even on par with Florida's benchmarks lol
