Is James Harden Running out of Gas?

Running on fumes? Wasn't he peaking just a week ago?

He's one week removed from winning Player of the Week two weeks in a row. (Well, Lillard was given one, but Harden had the better performance -- 4 trip doubles, 2 of which were 40ptrs and 3-1 record).

 

it's crazy that we aren't resting (or at least reducing minutes) our vets (Harden/Ariza/Gordon) when they are clearly out of gas

 

He looked like it in Portland and GS games.

Lol wow ur right. Im not hating or tryna call the most prolific poster here out but i just went through pages of his posts and a lot of them are "sky is falling" type posts.

I didnt see anything positive or any props given

 

Don't get me wrong, I like Harden. He's a very skilled, and our best player. But if he can't take my criticism, then he has less bball IQ than I give him credit for, and I'd be looking to trade him soon before his window closes.

 

@DreamShook and @Os Trigonum have been trying to say they're worried about him this year, after 1 1/2 yrs of intense DMo cravings and teases and ultimately running dry with no suitable replacement. I think they are considering an intervention.

Actually, he's pretty funny in the DMo thread now. Just when he post about rox bball, does seem to be heavily tilted to negative issues surrounding the Rockets versus the positive, fun and celebratory ones. (inb4: I won't celebrate until we win when it matters.)

 

Is DD running out of gas? if that's so, then that is ironic, because . . . America runs on DD

 

I think DD blocked me. I'm no longer aware of his well-being.

 

some posters only turn up when times are bad. As soon as we go down by 15 DD shows up to tell us how we need dmo. Broken record.

 

And some posters only turn up in the Game Thread to talk about dick, or how they are creaming their pants on a great play. j/k

Van Gundy said Harden may sit tonight's game due to the "flu".

I just want Harden and Ariza to play less minutes. If Harden's wrist is an issue then screw his MVP chances (Westbrook is just putting a better "show on") and he needs to sit out a few games. I wish we would use these last several regular season games to get Lou going and running the offense, especially that bench unit. I think our bench will be our biggest factor in how we perform in the playoffs.

 

Hah knew it, you could see it in the GS game he was SLOW on everything, I said he looked sick.

Ariza and Harden are both out. Ariza due to death in family. Troy Williams and Dekker get the start.

 

This may be a thing for him.

 

it's interesting Rockets go with "Flu" and not "Wrist."

 

I would go with stomach flu.

 

"Explosive diarrhea". That gets you out of work everytime.
