    Yes or No?

Thinking about overall impact on the team, wins, what kind of player he is (talent).

    Where you place Harden?

    hAkeem
    Moses
    The Big E
    (Clyde)
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    Calvin
    Ralph
    (Clyde)
    Rudy T
    Yao/Harden/McGrady

Big drop off from that first group to the next tier. Harden has a lot to do to be mentioned with that bunch.

(Depends on if you count his entire career or just the Rockets years where I place Clyde).

I'd put him either #2 or #3 (Behind Moses), definitely has done a lot for this team, but career trajectory needs to keep following the same path, otherwise he might slide down as his relevancy fades. Needs to do something big to retain #2 for a long time - Win MVP, go to the Finals (Win Finals!!) etc.

So he is, right now, but need to continue along the same path or he might slide.

    It's debatable but he's definitely top 5.

    1. Hakeem
    2. Moses Malone
    3. Elvin Hayes
    4. James Harden
    5. Clyde Drexler
    6. Ralph Sampson
    7. Yao Ming
    8-10 Steve Francis/Vernon Maxwell/Tracy McGrady

I would agree. It's too bad most people here couldn't witness the greatness of Hayes and Malone in their prime. Harden is on a good path, but he has work to do to be among the all-time greats in NBA history.

As much as I love Harden and as of right now, I'm going to say no. If were talking about including him in Houston Rockets all-time greats, I wouldn't classify him in top 3 yet. He hasn't really accomplished anything.

Conference finals. More than we've had in the entire history of Yao and TMac.

Top 3 if he wins a ring IMO.
