I really do not care if he is second, third or something.

Titles count, at least have several Finals appearances as a Rocket not as a Thunder.

This will depend on the talent surrounding him. You don't make the Finals, especially in the West, without multiple Top 25 players. We know Harden is one of those, but we also know that he's the only one of those we have.

Hakeem was great for almost a whole decade but really dominated once he got surrounded with strong defenders and 3 point shooters, plus a great bench. Houston doesn't have that right now but Harden will only look better the more the roster improves.

If Harden has surpassed the guy on the left, he's surpassed the guy on the right. (and whomever is in the armpit)

But win and chip and contest over...

Correct. TMac is 46th best of all time. If he wanted higher placement, don't quit on team. Speaking of... Dwight is 47th and Lin is 45th. At least Lin tried. He may have been stupid, but he tried.

I rank Charles Jones higher than this trash I listed. Bullard is much higher than these fools. Drex, Sam, Horry, Mario, Thorpe, Max, ET... the list goes on. Hell, Mobley is higher up than these guys, Steve too. Never quit, never put yourself in front of the organization.

I don't see how anyone can put him over Moses. He hasn't led us to the Finals or won a MVP. Moses is an arguable top 15 player ever.

Moses being top 15 player doesn't mean much, he was Rocket for only 5 seasons.

And he took us to the Finals and won an MVP in those 5 seasons.

Harden took us to the conference finals and got snubbed from that MVP title that year. Close enough?

Nope, I place a high value on team. Tmac was an individual who didn't trust his teammates enough to get to the second round. He says it himself on espn all the time. He was a selfish player who played a bigger role than he deserved.

Ok that's fine but saying he's not one of the best rockets ever is insane. The guy was good. Just had terrible luck in postseason.

    6. Tracy (Murray, not the other one)
    7. Weatherspoon
    8. Kostas Papadoponikolous
    9. Sura Faints
    10. Juwanna Mann

    11. Bearded One

It wasn't luck, it was a lack of trust. He was skilled, but good players make their teammates better. He did not. Bullard made his teammates better because he stretched the floor. Tracy isolated himself and brought double teams to himself yet still took the shot. He was talented but dumb. 46th.
