This is laughable. The rockets are my team so I love harden but if the cavs called and offered a straight up morey would not even hesitate. Lebron is by far the best player in the NBA as far as overall ability. He is caring a completely depleted cavs team. Harden definitely did that during the regular season and I'm in the minority in saying that he has been amazing in the playoffs. But he can not take over and overall affect a game like lebron.

Uhm, the Cavs teams he brought to the Finals before joining Miami were "stacked"? LeBron is the guy that had by far the most impact and success with low-talented teams, not even close to debatable. Don't know how you can make that statement.

Where did you get those market size numbers? Cleveland 5th? No way. Houston is a larger market than Miami or Cleveland. In fact, according to Nielsen, Minneapolis is a bigger market than Miami or Cleveland.

and NO I AM NOT TROLLING

im just sick of the damn medai influencing casual viewers. I watched Harden carry this team to the 2nd seed without Howard this year and it was beautiful to watch. Lebron used to carry teams( albeit in the EASTERN confernce). But he doesnt do it anymore.. its 2015 now

I love my team, and I support James Harden, but he's not LeBron. I almost admire your homerism, but LeBron is the best basketball player on this planet. Part of me is anticipating the day when he finally slows down and loses some athleticism, the other part of me appreciates being able to watch him in his prime.

nobody explaining in detail why LeBron is better than Harden

just the usual.. "LeBron is the best player in the world"

Harden plays in a tougher confernce againist better comp and isnt just along for the ride and being carried by other elite talents or above average role players

So i'm a casual viewer because I think LeBron is the best player in the league? lol that's the dumbest thing I've read all day. You're a Harden homer but you act like we're saying Harden sucks because we think LeBron is better. They're both great players, Lebron is just better.

I've been down this road before debating with someone that's a homer of a player or team. It'll just go in circles. You're entitled to your opinion OP. Go Rockets!

Well the gap has certainly closed. :)

The fact you can debate Harden...or Curry...or Davis...or Durant.

Would Houston trade Harden for LeBron?
Would Golden State trade Curry for LeBron?
Would New Orleans trade Davis for LeBron?
Would Oklahoma City trade Durant for LeBron?

    LeBron(30; turns 31 December 30th)
    Curry(27; turns 28 March 14th)
    Durant(26; turns 27 September 29th)
    Harden(25; turns 26 August 26th)
    Davis(22; turns 23 March 11th)

You can have Curry. I'm keeping Davis. I'm tempted to keep Harden & Durant.

I think Lebron could be and should be the best player in the league. He's had a pretty pedestrian season and hasn't actually been the best this season. That doesn't exactly mean that I think Player X is better. I'm not sure that's even a valid question to ask. It a team sport. But what Harden has actually accomplished this year has been better than what Lebron has. I chalk a lot of that up to some sub-optimal team dynamics from returning to Cleveland. In some other context, maybe he'd turn in a better season. Probably Harden in Cleveland wouldn't be as good as Harden in Houston. But there's a reason why Curry and Harden were the primary candidates for MVP -- because they had the best seasons, not Lebron. You can always say (and I think many voters did) 'oh but Lebron is always really the best' but he didn't put it on the court.

In what world is Cleveland a large media market? You might want to re-check your stats.

    Davis not hyped up?

People think Davis will be the best player in the league in 2-3 years
