How does he plan on getting in the game if he doesn't go to the game? (or even training camp) I was never high on him as a pick anyway - so glad we got T Jones. Just his body type and skill set made him a 'lock' as, at worst, a rotation player in the NBA. He makes the fact that we took a 'flyer' rolleyes on White worthwhile.
Bleah just leave him... 15th man on the D-League bench, leave him alone - don't talk to him. Let him go find his happy place. Talk about White in a year or two when he comes to grips with his condition. No point in talking about him or tweeting him or whatever. Just leave the guy alone
keep him. If he goes somewhere else and gets his act together everyone here is gonna flip. It's not like he's a distraction to the team since he's not even around half the time anyway. Send him to the D-League where he won't have to worry about flying, and hopefully it'll be a good wake-up call.
I don't support many of Royce's recent decisions, but either way, CF has shown itself to be full of bigotry
Dallas still want him? I wish the rockets can trade him to Dallas, and get back Jared Cunningham, and Jae Crowder
That first round money smelled too good to start making demands before the draft huh... If doesn't end up playing for anyone, atleast he has enough money to pursue & enhance other career choices he's great at & passionate about. In a more healthy environment. Which he probably already knew were more medically necessary due to his condition... Hell I knew there would be a lot of flights & packed locker rooms from watching. "Eddie" & "Like Mike" LOL Let me stop...
Get rid of him. Cut your losses and be done with the drama. Focus on players that are actually there.
People obviously don't understand what a project is, nor do they understand how we develop our rookies. There is literally zero harm in putting him in the D-League for a year till he adjusts to what the Rockets are doing and they find a way to work with him. Marcus Morris saw zero playing time last year and he has progressed just fine. Getting rid of a talented rookie who you took knowing he has baggage at the first sign of drama would be utterly idiotic.
Give him to adjust, especially since we're not privy to the exchanges between him and management. It was unlikely that he would be getting much playing time this season with the whole Power Forward situation, so hopefully he can use this season to get everything straight.
I agree with one of the posts above, why one earth would we get rid of him? He has a small contract, and has big time potential if we can get around the character issues. It's a PROJECT. And everyone calling him an ******* and stuff is wrong in my opinion. He is probably having tons of anxiety issues right now, and he has to look out for himself and make his own proper health decisions. And is he in this for himself? Well of course! It's his job for crying out loud, he didn't join the NBA to help build a team but to make money playing basketball. I'm not saying everybody is extremely selfish, but I think most players care more about themselves then the team (for good reason). You can't go your whole life making decisions and making bad health decisions based off trying to please an angry online basketball message board.
