Friedman 1/15/14 "Further clarification on Smith's status: McHale says Greg will not be playing tonight due to lingering knee issues." --- crazy how we went from having 4 centers on the roster during preseason "Howard, Asik, smith, camby" to basically not even having a backup center for almost half of the season so far
I remember me thinking "we got too many point guards and centers!". In hindsight, yeah we should have gotten two or three more.
^^^^^morey has a lot to figure out, because this asik and smith knee thing is something we can’t afford going into the playoffs and if were fighting for a top 4 spot in the west.
i miss greg smith. the dude has good hands offensively and has a knack for getting offense boards. if only he could shore up his defense a little
This is not a chronic injury. This would classify as the same injury that still needs treatment. My guess is, he came back too soon.

Greg is a solid bench big... looking forward to having him back, although I'm not sure where he will get playing time. Maybe if Morey makes a trade that'll open things up for him.
I was at the Knicks game when Smith injured his leg...they show'd it like 6 times on the big screen... It looked horrible, surprised he wasn't out for the year (it looked that bad)
