In games that Wade plays well in, his midrange jumper works, like it did tonight. If his jumper isn't on, he has no room to penetrate b/c teams will give him the jumper. And he isn't as explosive/athletic as he once was to force himself into the paint and finish.

Ultimately, Wade isn't done. But he's declining. If you watch many Heat games, and even Heat fans will tell you this, he's not the same player. The old Wade would put up these types of performances on a consistent basis. Now you get this every 1 out of 5 or 6 games. The good thing is that even when Wade doesn't score a lot, he's efficient with his shots.

Yes, because defenders sagged off on him so much because they were afraid of his explosive drives and his footwork when penetrating.

Wade won a championship pretty much by himself.
He is the greatest player in this decade to not win an MVP award.

Is this a sick joke or are you just dumb? Peak Wade and Paul were better than Durant ever was.

lolwut? KD's better than Wade or Paul, even when both were at their peak. On size alone he's 6'11 compared to Wade's 6'4 and Paul's 6'8...if you put KD during big 3's heyday or with Dwade's 1st championship team I think they would win regardless.

Chris Paul is only 6'0" tall.... Paul Pierce is 6'7", and anyone except himself would believe he is a league MVP player.

I was watching the Heat vs Spurs game on TNT when Charles and Reggie were talking about Wade. I agreed with them when they stated Wade needs to find a below the rim game if he wants to stay dominant. Kobe & Jordan did it, so Wade needs to do it. Otherwise he will be following T Mac's footsteps and playing in China.

Wade will be fine with a few more cycles under his belt.

Wade will play in the China very soon. It's the retirement home of NBA players.

Some juice right before the playoffs, you'll be seeing him backing people out of the paint like Charles Barkley.

i thought defenders sagged off of him because they were afraid they would sneeze and get called for a foul

He's old now so he looks for the whistle more, but prime Wade didn't need the whistle. You're blinded by hate if you can't see that.

His footwork, exactly... That will never leave him. In fact it will improve...

    13 points, 1 assist, 4 to's, 3-13 from the field. -33 in plus/minus. Looks bad out there.
