The upside is that we finally no longer have to hear Chicago guys like Wilbon crow about how Wade is the best shooting guard in the NBA (because Kobe Bryant was never born in this reality) or the second-best player in the NBA (because Kevin Durant I guess doesn't exist either) or any of these other false honorifics.

Wade's game was 90% based on his athleticism. He never learned how to shoot. Its sad. Dude used to be one of my favorite players and now he's starting to fall off.

remember when all these analyst clowns argued as part of their hate for LeBron going to Miami "this is dwayne wade's team!" yea LeBron sat back year 1 and saw them lose in the finals. Didn't take long it to be his team.

DWade isn't done, he's just realized that with LeBron on his team he can coast during the regular season and let LBJ do all the work and take it up a few notches in the playoffs or whenever he feels like it. So it's mostly a lack of effort and disinterested play.

 

Been on the decline after the 08-09 year, he posted up some MVP type numbers that season. But with Lebron, and Bosh he isn't required to do as much work now anyways, so it all works out for him.

 

He'll wake up during the playoffs and make a good contribution like he always does.

 

He can't shoot if his life depended on it.
