The coach is not the problem. This season is like a rookie season for the young guys that has been here for a few years. At times it just seems like all of them hit the rookie wall. Jalen needs to lift weights and just work on his shot. If Jalen was on right now, we would be a playoff team. But he thinks he is Steph right now and he just needs to get down hill until his shot can be more efficient.
Ime deserves more time to make the ship right. It's not a small feat to improve a next to the last defense to a top 6 one. The offense is pretty bad. He needs to fix it. At some point, just yelling "play more physical" "more energy" can only work up to a point. You have to let the players see that you are wrecking you brain to help them succeed. Defense is a large part effort. Offense is skills and schemes. Scheme is the coach's job. This is game 56. There has to be some growth. We'll see how it looks after Green is benched and everyone is healthy. This is his first season here. So he has some slack.
We just need to give the captain time to recapsize the ship the other way... I've seen enough - brinks truck for JB Bickerstaff is the only way out of this conundrum

Hey Jim. I didn't say anything like that. @KingCheetah misinterpreted what I said and confused me as an insider of some sorts. Very weird since I never acted like one, but I'm sure it was a mistake and he confused me for someone else. In regard to this thread, I don't think Ime is in any kind of trouble although I do believe the honeymoon phase is pretty much over or nearing the end. Like other posters have pointed out, I'm pretty sure the players who aren't able to buy in will likely be shipped out and other lesser players will be replaced. Coaching is fine. Ime is fine. Just my two cents.
Did anybody genuinely think that this whole Roosh business would have any effect at all on the Rockets?
Did anybody else have "turn on Ime the second his actions don't align with the confirmation bias" on their CF bingo card?
So it only took half a season for the new coaching hire that nearly everyone on this board loved to have completely fizzled to the point that we're now ready to dump him? Just want to make sure I'm up on the latest CF team-building strategy that will get us to a title. CF: "We're not making the playoffs this year as King Tilman and Prince Stone promised in their Phase 2 plans! We must throw out everything and start over yet again! There's no other solution!"
Wait, you mean they're not being fair comparing Ime (the coach who's turned us into a top 10 defensive team) with Silas?
