As someone who is 1/2 Irish, those shirts are not offensive if an Irishman (or woman) wants to wear one. But the rest of you **** off.

    :p

Or, just marry a Protestant, start a bunch of liberal arts colleges and move out of Five Points.

It'd be great if they found some cause to deny the return, and he was stuck with them. imagine how mad he'd be realizing he went from preventing their sale to financially supporting their production, then gets arrested in walmart's customer service line for drunk & disorderly.

Why do they use bagpipes in the video for the screaming sound? I'm pretty sure it's actually a saxophone making that sound...

I'm offended by his taste in jackets.

Someone photoshop the "I need to speak to a manager" haircut on him.

I can understand folks being a bit offended. Imagine a shirt making fun of how drunk Asians are. Or African Americans.

Blacks and Asians aren't designing and selling the shirts or running a large portion of bars, German and Irish are the largest ethnic bloodlines in America so mathematically it's a given that they're cultivating and profiting from these stereotypes while reaffirming their heritage despite also helping fundamentally shape and being inextricably assimilated into majority American culture. Also Asians and Blacks have already done this with martial arts instruction, jazz, blues, pop music, rap music and commercializing their respective cuisines.

Despite my separate response I agree that the stereotype is offensive. Even more hurtful and somewhat less rational are the all encompassing mafia tropes tied to Italian Americans.
