I'm sure this has been discussed before, but busted out the old ipod today, was wondering if there was a way to transfer music to the ipod without itunes? not that i'm not a fan of itunes. I just tend to listen to music directly from my external hard drive with VLC player and no music is imported into itunes. would rather just drag and drop onto my ipod if possible.
I think you can use Floola, and if your iPod is jailbroken I think you can use "PwnTunes" ? iTunes is a pain unfortunately
I've been using sharePod since like forever I've had iPods and iPhones. It works wonders for getting music out of these devices. I highly recommend it. http://www.getsharepod.com/
I have used TuneRanger, and while it never worked like I wanted it to, i think it would do what you're asking. {flamesuit} Yeah, all that automatic syncing and pesky organization is so 5 minutes ago {/flamesuit}
Lol, yeah it's quick and easy. It really is, but my issue for people who aren't running ios5 is that you need to plug in to sync. I use iTunes wi-fi sync on Beta 7 and it's great. However, the thing I love about Android is the ability to just plug into any computer, or whatnot and just drag and drop.
