It looks like Buttigieg will win the delegate count. If this hold, this delay...

    - hurt him (tremendously for those that think Iowa is so important)

    - help Bernie (was the favorite)

    - probably a wash for Biden given how horrible he did

Oh dude, the unquestioned winner of this cluster **** is Joe Biden.

Not a soul is talking about his abysmal performance.

This was truly a gift from God to the Biden campaign.

I don’t think it matter much. He did so bad that both are very bad for him - a bomb (sharing BW with Pete surprise) vs a slow but long 3 continuous days and counting of negative coverage (sharing BW with Iowa mess)

google Biden trouble - plenty of coverage

That doesn't look wrong. They have 8 delegates. Its not a straight up round up or round down formula. You can't go 2, 2, 3 and hand out 7 delegates when 8 are up for grab. These tweets that get people riled up with false information are getting out of hand.

yeah, I posted another tweet that said the math looked right explaining that it might be the reason Pete is leading in delegates but losing the popular vote, but he deleted his tweet. So maybe it isn't right? I don't know.

    The math is correct.

After the rounding, if there is still a delegate to be awarded, the group with the highest number below 0.5 is closer to rounding up, so they get it.

    Straight-forward math.

If Bernie ends up winning by first alignment, second alignment, AND the sdes, this will be a MASSIVE black eye for the DNC.

Why the hell would you report only 62% of the results with a race that is OBVIOUSLY neck and neck, and ALREADY has questions over its validity. Just horrible management.

Was gonna go to bed but may just have to pour myself a drink to celebrate. According to my math there is still about 60ish SDEs left for grabs, plenty of margin for Bernie to eek out a win.

If this result was presented on eleciton night I would've been a little let down by the margin of vitory, but if it comes after all the BS over the last few days, especially that rat f**kface just straight lying, then I am gonna shitpost every mother****ing doubter that I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with.

Except they’re commies, let’s not pretend socialism will be good for the country.

Bernie supporters are as much commies, as Trump supporters are fascist. Some incredibly small number may be true for both sides, but statistically, the numbers are relatively non-existent. If Bernie ='s socialism, Trump ='s fascism. We can play this dumb game all day.

The reality is, what Bernie supports, by all count of his policies and positions, is a social democracy, which is a mixed economy, not socialism, and not communism.

If Bernie ends up winning, Sneaky Pete will have stolen all his juice by declaring he was the winner with 0% of the vote calculated. Petey already got a small bump for claiming victory in 2 different news cycles. It was a smart sneaky move by a less principled politician.

Iowa was never about the delegates, everyone knows that.

Well, if there is corruption and political dirty tricks around, you can be sure trump and his supporters are nearby...

Trump supporters flood hotline for Iowa precinct chairs, adding to the confusion: report

They are more policy and ideology driven while Trump supporter are more "my guy triggered a group I hate" driven.

if they wait for 100%, people would complain why would they wait for 2-3 days? To hide the result? That void probably will cause as much if not more craziness. FWIW, I initially thought they should just wait until everything is counted, thinking it would just take a day at most.

In all, its already a pretty big black eye. Why would the expected winner winning be a bigger black eye?

Well Trump's free money to farmers is far more socialist than anything Sanders or Warren have proposed.
