Sweet. The only downside to the NVG599 is that it's huge in comparison to the 589.

Nice! Your 2.4GHZ should also have better range with the 599.I do the same thing you do, I live in an apartment so I only use 5ghz, but I do have the 2.4 broadcasting for a webcam I have that doesn't have 5ghz support. If you don't mind me asking, if you go to the broadband tab via the gateway IP of 192.168.1.254

Are you assigned 68.94.156.9 as your DNS or 99.99.99.53?

Same here! I had to turn on the 2.4ghz (with a diff SSID) for the printer, and guests. But my main network now is a combo of the 599 and meraki at 5ghz.

I noticed the lag yesterday when I initially setup the modem but realized IPv6 was not off. It's a big difference. ATT uses some 6rd method of tunneling the ipv4 traffic.

I will let you know about the DNS when I get home. Why do you ask?

Thanks for that. the reason I asked is because sometime in the past few months I noticed my gateway was no longer pulling 99.99.99.153 and instead was using the 68.94.156.9 addresses (along with 157.9).

got ATT Gigapower in Dallas. Having issues with it kicking me off XboxLive when I start to play. Sometimes it'll be solid, sometimes it'll act like a bich. Any help?

    Notes:
    I've turned off IPV6
    Lan Connected
    Public IP
    Disabled Firewall.

It's really a pain in the ashe
