Interesting thing I noticed after spending a week in Sydney Australia

    Most people I encountered didn't know who Andrew Bogut was, even though he is Australia's highest paid athlete. They knew that there was an Australian on the team that won the NBA championship. They didn't know the team and didn't know his name. I guess I always assumed that more Australians followed basketball since there a quite a few Aussies on the board and there are a few Australian basketball players.

    I think any sport fan here would know who he is. Non sports fans wouldn't but that's the same anywhere.

    I would bet most aussie men would know this one regardless if they are into sports or not....

    While in Perth I thought that Aussies were taller than average.

    They don't have basketballs in Australia. They do have a large group of folks that follow football religiously though. Football would kill there.
