It's shenanigans like this that make me very wary of a world where digital distribution is more prevalent. Say goodbye to "owning" your purchased games because you are in effect only renting with certain restrictions.
I side with the consumers on this one....they bought the software they should own it. There is a whole server side issue to consider in this though....because the gameplay takes part of Blizzard's servers which they own. Gonna be interesting for sure. DD
Right - and that's legit IMO. The issue is that the method addressed here involves copyright violation, not contract interference. Different animals with way different ramifications. It's not the end result, but the tactic that's disconcerting.
