On his weekly radio show, a caller asked him if he ever sits down and talks to players about their "role on the team." He said that it has been his experience that if a player questions his role on the team, it is because he is not playing well and he is more concerned with his stats than the team winning. He also mentioned to another caller that Hakeem has missed a lot of scoring opportunities because he doesn't use his jump hook any longer. He said he saw him start to go to it twice against San Antonio and then back off and fade away missing both times. He said Dream's knee is fine (actually, he said it was GREAT) but that he just doesn't seem to have the confidence to jump off of that leg. He also mentioned to the host that Olajuwon told him before training camp that he wasn't sure how healthy he would be for the season and, from the tone of Rudy's voice, it sounded like the team prepared as if Hakeem wouldn't be playing much if at all. ------------------ The way to use life is to do nothing through acting, The way to use life is to do everything through being. - Lao-Tzu
I was wondering is this radio show on 610 am perhaps? If so, at what time does it come? So that I may ask Rudy what's up with Damn Lanky? Thanks for the info. ------------------ There is two two types of people in the world: those who finish their sentences,
DW. It is on 610am and he is on on Wednesdays when the schedule allows and is usually on between 6pm and 7pm. ------------------
Sorry guys, It's on 950, KPRC. Wed., 6-7 is correct. That show gets really fun when Mike Newlin is hanging around the studio ------------------
