Your writing is pathetic and you should be ashamed of yourself. Learn how to use sentences before you write about anything related to intelligence.

Man, this thread has the same effect of watching a Netflix series . It's like a show you enjoy and next hing you know....BANG! Season series is over. Your left wanting more yet you don't know if they will make new episodes.

I have more grey matter then you! Nana booboo, stick your head in doodoo!

Basketball is a decent comparison, some guys are tall but can't ball, some guys are short but light fire on the court. Hard work beats talent when talent isn't working hard.

Anybody who has the motivation and puts in the work can gain knowledge, intelligence and be successful in life, not matter what the genetic predispositions one has. Not to say one necessarily needs great intelligence or knowledge to have a very successful life.

Having a higher baseline intelligence may help you learn things easier, faster, but anybody who has a strong enough desire to learn can accomplish the same goals as the same people who have the highest natural given intelligence.

Jcee15, your comments saying people should give up on their kids accomplishing their highest goals and dreams in life is disgusting.

The discovery doesn't have any reaching implications about race (because it's already settled dumbass) and on the extreme extreme off chance that it did bring something new, it would imply our degree of understanding is advanced to the state where arbitrary "IQ" traits are treatable.

The ubermensch could very well be genetically enhanced mud people tearing down all that is good and holy with the US of A. By then, said mud people will just be people, and your race will be the next nasty bad word. :(

Be afraid jcee. Be very afraid.

It's an incidental tidbit of science being presented as racist gospel. Our understanding of genetics is in it's infancy, it's relationship to and expression in a complex human life or society is less understood than that. It's cherry-picking science for an agenda, by the same type of people that deny proven science for an agenda.

Haven't read the whole thread but enough to determine that the OP got short-shrift on that newly discovered intelligence gene.
