This thread is inspired by bbs member Pete Chilcutt, he posted this video from the Houston-Orlando finals where we played the song "It's a Small World" for their intro music. I don't know of any other example of a team playing insulting music for the opposition in the NBA other than when the Rockets did that against Orlando in the Finals. I don't think they did it for any other games, but I really can't remember that far back. Maybe the NBA dictatorship clamped down and said that teams couldn't do that anymore. It would be pretty funny if teams starting doing that on a regular basis, especially since it originated in Houston.

It was pretty funny though, and kind of a silly jab towards Orlando. This would be kind of pushing it during a playoff game 7 or elimination game <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/jsaTElBljOE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Damn. The main thing I got out of that video was how much cooler the Rockets introductions were back then.
what about the rockets in the game 4 1995 intro music for the orlando magic playing Queen's hit: "Under Pressure" that was clever.
Can't really think right now but I think fans do that and you can sometimes hear it in the playoffs or it could be when someone gets 2 techs or fouls out in the playoffs.

To the OP, the Dallas and the Jazz suggestions were satisfactorily insulting, but the Spurs one seems more like a compliment.
