I loved this story.. And I think this was something I needed to hear. After recently losing someone close to me, and a lot of other things going wrong, I've been down. So hearing something positive like this touched me. Congratulations to you and your family, and thank you.
We've had some very cool Rockets fans from down under. I say the Rockets PR department should go to Australia to meet with those folks. Or maybe give them a free ride to attend a home game in Houston.
I came in here ready to see a crappy story by a newb. My mindset ready and fingers on the keyboard to ridicule the newb with a witty post. But as I read your post and being a father of 2 lil Rockets fans myself I can tell you you made my day better. I'm happy for her recovery and wish nothing but Unicorns and rainbows for her future and the rest of your family. Thank you for this great, real inspirational story and yes it is a very, very, cool story bro!!
Awesome story. Having kids really put perspective on things. They make everything else a little less important.
In a world that's filled with so many negativity, it's always nice to see some positives! I'm glad your daughter is doing much better and getting better everyday! She will definitely be an inspiration for many people for years to come! Definitely a "cool story bro"!
Great story. Makes me sad that Morey deprived your family of Jeremy Lin. (just kidding ) (duck for cover).
Superb story. Judging from the positive responses, you can tell Tayleesha that she has a whole army of ClutchFans cheering and praying for her.
Man, I am so glad you posted this! I needed a "slap in the face" after last night...lol. I was so down after watching Monta Ellis score at will on us yet again. Reading your post made me smile and "feel better". I also have a daughter who's went through multiple surgeries and shown me what perspective is all about - which is why I felt thankful for your post - reminding me of what's really important (my moods - and life...lol - revolve around my teams' wins and losses WAY too much...smh). You can read about/see my Brisa at "www.apert.org/dougan". She has a rare syndrome called Apert Syndrome. She too has amazed us and we've been so lucky and blessed she doesn't have many of the complications that often are associated with Apert. Thanks again for "waking me up" last night! Loved your post and story!!!
