I'd do MoT/Gaines for Davis since it gets rid of MoT and gives us an expiring contract.

But a big NO to DFish and his brand new contract. While I was disspointed that we didn't sign him last summer, the contract GS gave him is terrible. Plus, it would leave us with a HUGE logjam with the guards and no PF.

The reason is because they are Golden State, I just don't see them ever doing anything to make their team better.

They gave one of the worst contracts in NBA history to freak'n Adonal Foyle.

Not Howard. I would do it if Mo is involved. Fish is the missing piece.

I like our team this year... the only player I would trade is MO.. I would keep Sura at the point over Dfish, unless the team knows that he can only play a few more months.. BAD TRADE

Sura is a lot better than Derek Fisher. I wouldn't be a big fan of getting Fisher for this year, and NO WAY do I want him for 6 years!

    I'd rather have JUWAN than
    Derek Fisher.

    DEREK FISHER=BJ ARMSTRONG

The GS writer should have suggested:

    Ward/Gaines/Mo/Spoon - Najera/Davis/D-Fish

Rox get pounder (with great local marketing ethnicity) and take on D-Fish, give up crap - essentially for taking back more $$$..

Fisher's contract is worse than MoT's.

No to D Fish for Howard or even Mo or Spoon. We can't afford long term contracts.
I doubt if a DA/Mo deal can go through but i think it would still benefit the Rockets.

Why are we looking at more guards??
No Derek Fisher. Derek Fisher ranks up there as one of the worst contracts of all time. I mean this dude played for the Lakers and had wide open jumpers his entire career. I wouldn't trade 50 Mo Taylors and 100 Juwan Howards for this guy.

Rox need a PF that's better than Howard...not another PG.

Derek Fisher got a lot of mileage on four-tenths of a second.

    Hell, no.

Besides, Mo Taylor's the one who p.o.'d JVG, and is the last holdout of all the pre-Gumby Rockets (save Yao). He's the one to go.

When wasn't he? He's a 2 time 2nd Team All Defense. He still received a good amount of All Defense votes last year.

"Sun Jan 16 2005 - The Warriors don't want to trade Clifford Robinson because they feel their frontcourt defense would collapse without him there. They're probably right, as Cliffy is regarded as one of the league's best defensive players. If you're waiting for him to get shipped to New Jersey, it's looking more and more unlikely."

Garnett said Uncle Cliffy was the best defender in the league.

I say don't do any more trades to disrupt our chemistry which is just beginning to gell. Unless we can get rid of MoT or Gains, who have no roles in the team.

Howard if the deal is right.
