All these injuries... Beverley needs to start stretching more. Wayyy too many hamstring injuries for him. Dwight looked fine but just left out of nowhere. Same with Jones. Screw these injuries

I never listen to any player assessing their injuries. They always underplay it.

DRose has a bunch of hamstring injuries too, pretty sure its connected to the knee issues Beverley had at the end of last year.

A billion athletes without knee injuries have had hamstring injuries.

I'm as happy as anyone, but a little concerned. Hot shooting from 3 and Harden's heroics will only carry us so far until injuries to our starters will be too much to overcome. Last year we got pretty lucky with injuries, it looks like the patented Houston injury curse is out in full force this year.

And you are right to be concerned. Pick any three starters from any team in the NBA and sit them, and that team is going to be in a world of hurt.

Canaan's getting valuable experience, at a time when we can afford some bumps in the road. We already know that if Beverley is healthy then Canaan will be riding the pine because McHale hates young players. So this is forcing his hand. Good.

But seriously, Black and Dorsey need to get off the court. Ain't no upside in those scrubs.

    We need Dwight back ASAP.

In terms of importance, Dwight, Jones, then Bev. Even though Bev I think is better than Jones, our lack of big man depth is devastating. Please get well soon Jones.

Canaan is filling in adequately for Bev.

Arguably. Bev is fitting very well with the starters but if you were to choose who can flat out take over a game and can win a game in 1 quarter.

That has to be Jones. He has more potential.
Although I must say Beverley helped win one or the other game with defensive plays too.

other way around, weak hamstrings mean you're more susceptible to ACL ruptures

No. He never said that. I don't think anyone's said anything official yet regarding Jones. The closest we've heard to a timetable is Bill Worrell mentioning he'd be out another month, which was said during a broadcast last week. Which means we'd be looking at mid-to-late December maybe.

I hope he's not out past the new year. We can survive next month without the dude(we've gone 7-3 in the games he's missed so far), but beyond that the schedule gets way tougher and who knows if Morey will wanna do anything major to bolster the roster in his absence if it jeopardizes our pipe dream of signing Kevin Durant in 2 years.

He said on last nights game exit interview (2:22) : We're gonna be without Terrence for almost whole season.

Are you sure? Others heard it as they've been without Terrence for almost the whole season as in past tense. Which is true. He's missed 10 of 14 games. If he was gonna miss the entire year or close to it, it probably would've been announced by now.

he said "we're gonna be without Terrance for almost the whole season. Up to this point. his comeback date is... there's no timetable on that whatsoever."

It really could be interpreted both ways. Hopefully the way you described it is what he really meant... the first part made it sound like he was saying out for the season, but then he says up to this point after pausing. not really sure what he meant, maybe Clutch or someone could ask a follow up on this?

I'd interpret it as he's been out almost the entire season so far and the Rockets don't know when he's coming back. Now granted, that means he could theoretically be out a very long time. Shoot, even if he does come back in 3-4 weeks, we're talking about him missing nearly a third of the season. Either way, Dwight's gotta get back in the lineup ASAP and Morey needs to find one more big body to tide us over.
