I'm surprised that 40 postst into this thread, nobody has posted the picture of Bonzi with that chick in his lap. She could strain anyone's groin.
So I get the impression Ill Skillz that your subscribing to the idea that a leopeard doesn't change his spots...epsc.. after what you and I have seen all these years out of him.The track record wins out..... I'm just thinking we're going to get a healthy pocket of motivation out of our man Bonzi....and if that's the case,WE ARE LOOKING SWEET!...I just don't think he's completely done and he respects Adelman(and like I said is playing for a contract)....I know it sounds funny given the aforemented history.. This groin deal bothers me though, but it could be an arrangement in advance to keep him healthier so he's there when we need him.Who knows?
Heavens, a sensical post from d'cd and one in which I am in general agreement. Just don't use 'puff piece' in the same sentence as Bonzi Wells!
on groin injuries: "The best way I can describe it is.. it felt like somebody bungee jumped off my right n*t" -ken griffey jr.-
I'm not going to get too worked up about this one right now. The team thinks he could be a major contributor this season and nobody wants to see this turn into one of those roy-o groin issues that drag out...get better bonzi.
Right. I wonder when will we have a season without injuries. This year we have a great team, deep team, new better coach so God let the season go without injuries.....
Hope you're right. But with so many new guys, every minute spent with them on the practice court and in preseason games is valuable for developing chemistry. Ditto for Yao's absence. Full blown practices don't happen often enough once the season starts. The more he misses, I think it may mean he will be worked into the rotation more slowly than RA would have liked.
bonzi looked like he worked hard over the summer, or at least did some excercise so, perhaps foolishly, i'm giving him the benefit of the doubt right now. it's hilarious that people still blame jvg for bonzi's actions last season but that's over. let's just hope he actually looks somewhat like his former self this season.
