Whitley posted this today. I assume the caption is referring to his finish on his delivery which would be great. I had seen people raise the concern that those “back slaps” would take a toll on his arm.

What's the word on Diaz and Correa? Do they expect them to do a rehab assignment after the All Star break?

And, when they do come back, we have to hope they actually do well, and truly feel well enough to play at a good level. When Correa came back, he was clearly not 100% at the plate. Still made excellent defensive plays, but effects from his injury clearly affected his swing.

Lol I'm at the point that I do not want to see Correa until August. He shouldn't play until he is 100% at the plate.

How would you know that if he's not playing?

You mean after the back injury last year? Totally different thing. Broken rib is either healed or it isn’t. If he doesn’t have any pain than he should be good to come back.

Because he’s pitching Saturday. They want to split up JV and Cole.

Yeah..I read the original tweet wrong. I was thinking the possible Peacock start was the 4th game after the break instead of the 5th, so it made me think the split wasn’t happening.

DFA Rodgers? Guadan? Have the IL'd Martin yet? (that's probably the move if they haven't).

Martin to the 60-day means paying him a big-league salary and messes with his service time. DFA Rodgers is most likely IMO.

Good situation to be in. Hinch has to love seeing Joe back in the fold.
