http://t.co/RD7rQZSe I didn't know where to post this and wondered if I even should. Here are a few thoughts on why I decided to post it. I absolutely LOVE basketball, it's in my DNA. I'm from Indiana but, have lived in Houston for more than 30 years. For those of you that have read my posts know I love Indiana University basketball. My love for the Rockets is as strong, always will be and I think this article kind of sums up why the Rockets, Hoosiers and love of the game runs as deep as it does with me. Yes I'm well aware that the Rockets have nothing to do with Indiana but, being from Indiana is a very big reason for loving the Rockets as much as I do. Anyway, this isn't about me as much as it is the love of the game in Indiana. If you read it, I hope you enjoy it, I'm sure you may be surprised at some of Indiana's rich history.
Finally getting a chance to read this now ... pretty interesting. I have to admit, I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Indiana basketball because of the movie "Hoosiers", which may be my all-time favorite.
For those of us that grew up living Indiana high school basketball, Hinkle Fieldhouse is Mecca, not just where "Hoosiers" was filmed.
