Well, that settles it, can't read 3 pages about burgers at 11am. Screw the ice, headed to the Spicewood General for a baconcheese. Yall can keep your fast food.
That's true. For a cheap burger place, I prefer Whataburger because it's good, and it's convenient (within walking distance of my dorm).
lol at hipsters saying there is a better burger place in Austin, obviously there are better burgers but they are not in-n-out. Double double animal style with animal fries is just as good as any local place not saying it is better but just as good.
Just went yesterday. Got food within 15 minutes. My wife, a lifelong Whataburger fan agreed that it was far fresher and delicious than any Whataburger offering. Worth the 2 hour and 20 minute drive. Well done Austin.
Whataburger used to be better, but their quality has decreased dramatically in the past 10 years. There was a time when I would have said Whataburger was better, but not any more.
Customize your meal, whether it's animal style or fries cooked a certain way. You can even ask for a Neapolitan shake. Need more kick? Ask for some chilies. If you're looking for size, In-N-Out isn't your place. If you want fresh ingredients, good service, and don't want to end up paying $10+, then you found a place.
Hmmm... will have in-n-out as cheat meal today in honor of this thread. 2 double-doubles w/raw+grilled onions + fries. brb 2000 calorie meal
oh i see! lol They also got Pink Lemonade. I wish they got Strawberry. And for the dudes who are extra hungry, you can actually increase the size and get a 4x4. It used to be more. Spoiler I wouldn't recommend ordering it right off the menu, instead indulge in customizing off the "secret" menu. I ask for the fries to be cooked light well, which makes it more crispy just like how I like my fried chicken.
Was that time when you were young? Because there's a lot of crap I used to say was good when I was young that I wouldn't now make the drive for now.
Has anyone been to the Airport Blvd location yet? I want to go there for lunch tomorrow but not if they're having crazy waiting lines.
Was there at 1 pm on Saturday, drive thru was quite busy and inside was a nuthouse but still had food within 15 minutes. The ones I've frequented in California took just as long with less crowds.
