So after tonight, the difference between the 3rd spot and the 8th spot is freakin' TWO games. in the loss column, we're only ahead of the hated mavs by ONE.

9 of the remaining 13 games are against teams with .500 records or better

7 of those games are on the road (and tough road games too i might add) as we play at hornets, spurs, lakers, jazz, suns.

why is finishing strong important and holding onto AT LEAST the 4th seed is important?

    1) we want to avoid the 7th or 8th seed. let's be real. if we face the lakers or spurs without homecourt (esp. with the way we've played htis year on the road), we have ZERO chance of beating those teams. i mean we couldn't beat the lakers without odom and bynum, or spurs without manu and duncan having an off night.

    2) we need homecourt. we're below .500 on the road this year and we haven't shown any sense of dominance/consistency on the road all year. so if we don't have homecourt (unless it's against the nuggets, we have no chance)

    3) best bet to pass the first round - play denver or portland (if we portland, need homecourt b/c they're great at home).

again, the schedule is tough. but our team really needs to start focusing and regain the heart/swagger/passion that we displayed last yr with a team with less talent. bring those intangibles back again and we should finish strong.

it's getting to become nervous time. buckle your seatbelt everybody.

To summarize, we need a healthy McGrady.

If we do fail to get home court I sure hope its NO we end up playing in the first round... of all the realistic teams to pass us into 3rd or 4th it is them I would rather have.

We need Tracy McGrady. Yeah, it's what we need. Tracy McGrady. Tracy McGrady is our answer to all our problems.

If our economy is bad? Who do we go to? Tracy McGrady.
If the Pacers are about to be moved? Who do we go to? Tracy McGrady.

    Enough.

They should battle it out via a 1 on 1 competition! What's funny is Obama would actually win based on T-Mac's current condition.

With the current roster, Rox needs only one magic word to win any playoff series and that is "TEAM".

Without any player with "closer" quality, only "TEAM PLAYS" can bail them out in the playoff.
