btw, I'm a red rowdy, so I only see the maximum positive. And quite honestly, I think the scenario is realistic. TMac showed glimpses of MJ in 2004-2005. He just needs to do it all the time. Last year, Yao showed glimpses of Hakeem. Shane Battier, he's a much better shooter than Pippen, and he's there fundamentally.

Might wanna change that sig there chief.

Anyways, I can only dream of something like that working out for us next season. T-Mac has it in him, if his injuries are straight for the rest of his career, we should have a lot more to be surprised about in the future.

I say great, just fire Dumby (Gundy) and bring in P. Jackson (P. Jackson).

I rather imagine me, Jessica Alba, and Halley Berry alone on a desert island.

    The next analogy will be:

JVG is better than Pat Riley + Phil Jackson.

    Let's all scream "Dynasty".

Imaging me, MJ, Magic, Charles, Dream on the same dream. We will be unbeatable! :D

Yes, I will start and get my 35 minutes, muhahahaha! Then I will maybe have Lebron to back me up.

Tmac and Yao can fake it for a limited time...Battier? That dude doesnt EVEN have the explosiveness and ballhandling and ability of creating shots like Pippen. He might be Kukoc at the very best.
(Geez if the Rox could have a younger Horace Grant on this team now or an equivalent alongside, how nice would that be? MAN..)
Maybe Rudy Gay will turn into a Pippen in a few years :D

    Imagine there's no Heaven
    It's easy if you try
    No hell below us
    Above us only sky
    Imagine all the people
    Living for today

    Imagine there's no countries
    It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
    And no religion too
    Imagine all the people
    Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

    Imagine no possessions
    I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
    A brotherhood of man
    Imagine all the people
    Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

While you may be correct, it is most definitely not an assurity.

Besides, I'd rather have MJ, Dream and Clyde playing at the same time. You realize that was an actual possibility at one time, don't you?

I truly hope that Battier becomes the cog that ignites McGrady's and Yao's spark. I really do.

As of now, much to my chagrin, this team doesn't even have the heart of the 86 team. Something needs to happen.

If Battier can provide that "unknown" spark that ignites fans, then this may be the greatest acquisition the Rox ever made.

All I know is that this town, albeit fickle, loves their teams. But we're not "Cubs" fans.

I love every one of my teams with a fervent passion, but when you suck, you suck.

And when you do, especially when another one of your hometeams is doing better, you watch.

It's not that you care less, it's because one of your other siblings (teams) is doing well.

As fans, we feel like parents. We nurture everything the team does with viewership, attendance, and sales. We do it for all our boys. And just because one of our boys is sprouting doesn't mean we don't love you, as well.

Fact is, we're all Rockets fans. We're just waiting to see what the next year brings.

lol. i think it's more realistic to compare to like the 2000 lakers team.
    tmac = kobe
    yao = shaq
battier > all the other role players.
    there you have it.
