welcome back, @Roc Paint . don't worry about meds just yet. meds aren't for everybody, but they are for some people. just make sure that you've exhausted your resources before going that route. if you do, be as honest and forthcoming as humanly possible about the way they make you feel and the side effects associated with them. i mean really honest. seriously. your brain chemistry and life are at stake, right? i'm a big advocate AND critic of psych meds. first things first, talk to the pros... therapists, counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists, etc to find out what the real problem is and then work towards whatever the solution may be. baby steps. just be mindful to not step on your toes.

Dude, I don't know you personally, but I remember the moniker and have generally liked your posts. We all have different backgrounds & experiences and I'm sure as long-standing members of this online community, we're willing to help you get through this. I know I am. PM me if you just need to talk or maybe get a different perspective on whatever it is you're going through. Just know that people care about you, on and off this board. Take some time man. We've all been through really shitty situations. Might be hard to see it now, but time & experiences will eventually change things for the better. Hang in there and reach out if you need to.
Roc you have a calling in this world with your willingness to do charities for the unfortunate and always are willing to help others. Let your family, friends and cfans help you now. Just got through all this and am extremely happy to read Roc's last post. I'm also proud of the CF community and the positive posts that make up the bulk of this thread. We're all human and every time something tough hits us, we react differently; sometimes in ways we ourselves could not predict. There are no rules or guides or formulas for this stuff except one: You don't have to stand alone. There's always somebody who will stand with you and support you if you give them the chance. Roc, that was a good call. Keep moving forward my man.
