It wouldn't be scrubs. We have seen this before in Miami and Cleveland. GS too. They would get ring chasing vets.

Might as well rebuild if this happens

I know Morey will never stop trying. He's the only GM who challenged the Warriors dynasty. I just don't think CP3/Harden/Butler and a hard-capped roster of minimum contracts will come close to beating that team.

I know injuries happen. Our core is much more injury prone than their Laker core (if it happens).

Also, we would be hard-capped. Morey would be frozen out of the buyout and trade market at the deadline as the Lakers add pieces to complete their playoff roster while we sit idly. Not good news.

Let’s just see how it shakes out. No idea right now who is coming in or going out.

They usually use the MLE and/or existing assets to get them, though. There haven't been cases where literally half of the rotation are all newly signed minimums. Not saying it can't work, but it's not the same as those scenarios.

i'm done asking what it means to "make the moves needed to get him" because when i think about it, it hurts my brain. Instead i say ..."in Morey we trust".

Heard the same thing when Lebron made the Heatles and when the KD went to the Warriors.

Guess what? Those teams didn't win every time.

But they weren't unstoppable. Hell the Warriors won because half the Cavs were hurt

The media should be praying for this to happen, they can spin it as the Texas boys teaming up together but instead their hate for Harden and the Rockets got them clowning us this entire month.

If you could just eat a whole entire bag of d****, please. James Harden recruited CP3. He didn't give him the contract. That is such a weird way of bending reality to meet your position.

Maybe tone down the anger about six notches. Cool?

Sure, Harden recruited CP3. Are we supposed to ignore the fact that his recruiting led to a giant anchor dragging down the team's cap situation? I never said Harden gave him the bad contract. But given what it turned into, it's delusional to proclaim that recruiting CP3 is a huge, unqualified victory.

Harden's ability to recruit is irrelevant to the contract that Morey gave CP3. To tie the two together is idiocy.
