MDA has already said he'd like to go for a few more years.
But, if another organization is knocking, who knows what could happen?

Is this why ticket prices went up again?! They had to sign Luc?

I'll never forget him dislocating his shoulder in garbage time against the Lakers...

Was it? I thought it was early on in the game, in the first half.

We had already clinched HCA throughout. Everything was garbage time.

I could have sworn it was on a fast break dunk at the end. I remember asking myself, why the hell was he even in the game in the first place. Could be mistaken though, I remember it was against the Lakers for sure though.

I guess it was the meaningless game then, since we played our starters I was pissed at. The whole game felt like garbage time like was mentioned before.

the game was essentially meaningless but its pretty tough to account for a fluke injury on a regular basketball play

But the thing is that if he dislocated it again that easily, that just means he would have done it inevitably in the playoffs. His shoulder was never going to be healthy during that post-season, whether he played against the Lakers or not.

It wasn't a fluke though. He had already separated/dislocated that shoulder earlier that season. The shoulder was never going to be healthy for the remainder of that season. His re-injury was inevitable.

it was a fluke in the sense that it happened on normal basketball play. he didn't crash into anything or nobody ran into him. if you're doing something as any other player would be doing and you get hurt, that's considered a fluke type event to me

I’ll believe what the future holds when the season is complete. I remain skeptical that short of a Finals appearance that a very huge, very major, very bigly, transformation will not forth come forsooth.

well considering he's a 40 year old who doesn't bring anything to the table that can help the rockets now

Because Luc is actually a plus defender, which allows us to maintain our defensive intensity for 48 minutes. I honestly think the Rockets believe they will win a championship this year on the back of their defense. You can tell just how much pride they've started taking on that side of the court now that they're all-in on small ball. Jamal can light it up from 3 when he goes on one of his hot streaks, but he brings little else at this stage of his career.

In meantime you do you and I'll do me.

Sometime the 3 ball shot of his can save the game i would like to have him for insurance if EG or someone else goes down.
